Nalanda Education Foundation offers One (academic) Year Free Training in School Teaching to fresh graduates interested in teaching at school level, with or without a B.Ed. or M.Ed qualification.

There is no charge for the training. In fact, the Trainees will receive a stipend as follows:

Trainees for Pre School/ Junior School: 1st six months = Rs. 2500/-pm, next six months = Rs. 3000/- pm.

Trainees for Middle School/ Senior School: 1st six months = Rs. 3000/- pm, next six months = Rs. 3500/- pm.

A certificate will be awarded on the successful completion of the training.

The training will be rigorous and of a high quality and it is very likely that trainees will be immediately picked up by good schools in regular employment. However Nalanda does not guarantee post-traineeship employment either at Nalanda or elsewhere. 

Those interested may send in their application in the prescribed form addressed to the Director, Nalanda International School, along with a 250-word essay on ‘Why I want to be a Teacher?’.
